Our interest in learning the craft of stained glass was how we got started. In 1983 I began a stained glass design class. Scott my husband quickly became interested in the process. We both started getting involved with projects, and before we knew it our business had already started to grow.

 

After a few years in the art fair circuit, we started focusing our interest mainly on the Michigan Renaissance Festival, along with various commission projects including custom interior and exterior doors, cabinet inserts and interior residential design. We have also since branched into creating warm glass, which is kiln formed fused and slumped creations. Some of our specialties include platters, candleholders, bowls and vases.

After eighteen years of designing, we are still an active part of the Michigan Renaissance Festival, which is an authentic, high quality, juried art venue. Our many repeat customers are a faithful lot to the faire.

The main influences of Scott's three-dimensional glasswork has been Archimedes and Johannes Kepler. Scott's intricate and accurate designs are constructed without the use of forms or molds. All of our work is completely handcrafted.
